Welcome to the Devereux Arizona website. Devereux is a leading behavioral health and child welfare organization that supports many of the most underserved and vulnerable members of our communities, helping them to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.
As part of the nation’s largest nonprofit human services organization, Devereux Arizona has been providing therapeutic care to children, families and individuals with behavioral and emotional health issues since 1967.
Today, we operate as part of a comprehensive national network of clinical, therapeutic, educational and employment programs and services that positively impacts the lives of tens of thousands of individuals and families each year.
The Devereux mission is to change lives and nurture human potential. We inspire hope, ensure well-being, and promote meaningful life choices. Now approaching a century of service nationally, we are unified by an organization-wide Philosophy of Care that, in many ways, evolved from Helena Devereux’s essential belief that "every child is a program." Devereux is an organization of great strength, perseverance and resilience.
Although much of our funding comes from state and federal dollars, we rely on community support to help us provide only the highest quality of care. Even amid challenging times, we strive to maintain our focus to address each clients’ unique and individual needs.
