Glenholme is gearing up for another exciting season for the GHS 1337 Squad, the school’s FIRST Robotics FTC (First Technical Challenge) team, as they approach their first round of competition later this month. Takes Shape |
Over the past three months, Glenholme students and staff have watched as the Center for the Arts takes shape on the school’s soccer field. The foundation is set in place and shaped for seating, the steel beams of the main structure were secured in place January; and the exterior walls of the lobbies, classrooms and greenroom are being assembled. COOKING UP HELP FOR HAITI |
When news of the devastation in Haiti reached the Glenholme campus, the students of the Commons heated up their Caring with Cookies program to raise funds to aid the relief effort for the earthquake victims. In just a few short weeks, Caring with Cookies easily surpassed their September efforts of $298.50 for their fellow Devereux families with another amazing fundraiser. Full Story >> |

REBOUND |
The Glenholme Grizzlies have faced strong competition from the Gunnery, Rumsey Hall, Woodhall, Maplebrook, and Kilbourne during the 2009-2010 basketball season. Despite several setbacks since their home opener, the team has rebounded with enthusiasm and enduring effort to take a victory over Kilbourne in their final home game and capture the Maplebrook Invitational Tournament title. BOOT SCOOT AND BOOGIE |
The Glenholme dance competitors stomped their heels in true “boot scoot and boogie” style for the third round of competition set to country music on January 27. Senior member of the Glenholme Grizzlies Dance Team, Jessica D, charmed the crowd of dance supporters in spectacular, southern style as she transformed into complete country character as the event’s host.
