A Spooktacular Event for Campus Kids
“On Friday, October 30, the children of the Devereux Florida Viera Campus were treated to a wonderful Halloween dance that was hosted by the staff on campus," explained Devereux staff member, Gina Lees. Devereux Florida is Meeting the Need for Individuals with Autism
Approximately one out of every 150 children is diagnosed with autism. Devereux has a successful history in serving children and adults with autism in Florida since 1987, utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and now Devereux is expanding this expertise statewide to individuals and their families by providing ABA services in homes, school and communities. The Devereux Florida Behavioral Consultation Program provides our community with much-needed services for children, adolescents and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health and behavioral disorders. The program focuses on teaching individuals appropriate behaviors, while reducing problem behaviors. Treatment is individualized and tailored to meet the needs of each recipient of our services.
