SPRING BRINGS AUCTION EXCITEMENT
It’s hard to imagine with the blistering cold winds gusting across the mounds of snow that spring is just around the corner. With spring comes warming weather, the pleasure of outside adventures, and the time of school auctions. Many schools from coast to coast including public, parochial and private, embark on the effort of fundraising through auction events. Full Story >>
SOUNDS OF THE SEASON
On the wintery day of Sunday, December 13, the cozy space of the Skitch Henderson Museum resounded the harmonic voices of 11 Glenholme choral performers as they harmonized a dozen holiday songs including “African Noel,” “Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!” “Believe,” and “Sleigh Ride.” The museum is only a small part of the Hunt Hill Farm Trust in New Milford, which also includes the Silo cooking school, cultural center, gallery, land preserve and shop. HARMONIZING THE HOLIDAYS
The cold winds did not chill Glenholme’s chorus and band as they harmonized a holiday performance in spectacular style. The school’s dining hall was standing room only on Thursday December 17 as family, students, and staff attended the hour-long occasion which included fifteen holiday songs.

HOOP-MAKERS WIN HOME OPENER
The Glenholme varsity basketball team emerged victorious in their 2010 home opener against the Grove School on January 7, with a 51-46 score. The team played a hard-fought, face-paced game and demonstrated great enthusiasm, sportsmanship and pride. Full Story >>
GLENHOLME CREATES HOLIDAY CHEER
Even in the tough economic times of today, the students and staff of Glenholme delivered holiday cheer to three local families through their annual Adopt-a-Family program. Glenholme sponsored families from The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury for the third consecutive year, adorning the space beneath their trees with an abundance of gifts. Full Story >>
"THANKFUL"
Glenholme student and aspiring singer, Josh Shapiro, demonstrated the power of music with the release of his second album, “Thankful, A Christmas Album.”  The album, which aired on the local radio station 89.9 WAPJ on December 15, was a big hit for the Center for the Arts Campaign. Full Story >>
CAPITAL ONE CREATES AWARENESS
The Development office endeavors to advance the Glenholme mission and program offerings in a continual effort to provide our students the opportunities and experiences that will guide them to fulfilling and happy adulthood, both socially and academically. Full Story >>
Center for the Arts Continues
Make a DifferenceAfter seven years of unwavering fundraising efforts and a star-studded groundbreaking event in May 2009 with James Marsden and Jessica Biel, Glenholme commenced construction on the long-awaited Center for the Arts on November 16. Although the construction of the building has started and fundraising for phase I has concluded successfully, the campaign continues for phase II of the project.
