Foster Care Programs and Locations
Devereux’s foster care services are offered in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Jersey.
- Traditional foster care (FL): Our traditional foster care services provide homes for children and adolescents with 24-hour crisis consultation and support resources for foster families through our professional staff, as well as in-home assistance and foster parent support groups. We provide a generous stipend to help meet the needs of children and adolescents, as well as a sign-on bonus to support families throughout the onboarding and licensing process.
- Therapeutic foster care (AZ, FL, GA, MA/RI, NJ): We offer specially trained foster parent homes that deliver a stable, supportive and highly supervised environment for children and adolescents with medical, psychological, social and emotional needs, including youth diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and/or autism spectrum disorders.
- Adult therapeutic foster care (AZ, FL): We offer foster or lifesharing homes specifically designed for adults diagnosed with developmental differences and/or mental illness who need support with daily activities in a family-based setting.
- Respite care (AZ): Our foster homes offer planned respite care for youth both in the foster care system and the community – to prevent out-of-home placements. Devereux also offers respite care for adults in our foster care programs.
