Medical
Devereux provides on-going medical services to residents on the Santa Barbara campus. Routine medical care is provided to clients with acute care needs (colds, flu, injuries), as well as follow up for chronic needs (seizure monitoring, diabetes, weight control, mental disabilities) by our doctor and nursing staff.
Consultation referrals to community doctors are made for more specific needs (i.e. dental, dermatology, orthopedic, etc.).
Counseling
Counseling is available at an additional cost by licensed Psychologists, Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers or supervised interns. Behavior Management Services are also available. Referrals are made for psychiatric services, including medication management and consultations.
Case Management
A resident's case management is provided by the Clinical Case Manager (CCM). This person functions as the lead facilitator of the Treatment Team and is the liaison between Devereux, families and/or agency representatives. |
