Approximately 300 guests gathered at the historic Normandy Farm in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, for Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health’s Wine and Dine event to raise critical funds for children, adolescents and adults living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences.

The event generated nearly $200,000 to benefit the individuals Devereux serves in southeastern Pennsylvania.

“What an incredible event! To see our donors, friends and supporters gathered to support our organization and the individuals and families we serve, was humbling and heartwarming,” said Devereux President and CEO Carl E. Clark II. “Thanks to their overwhelming kindness and generosity, we are able to help those in our care live their best, and most fulfilling, lives.”

About the event …

During the Wine and Dine event, famed New York City restauranteur and sommelier Paul Grieco guided guests through a wine tasting experience – five wines complemented by a sumptuous four-course menu prepared by Normandy Farm. Grieco, a James Beard Award recipient who led the beverage program at the famed Gramercy Tavern, and later opened his own renowned restaurants, Hearth and Terroir, captivated attendees with his effervescent charm, storytelling experience and astounding knowledge of various wines.

Once-in-a-lifetime experiences, including a week in a Spanish villa, an exclusive Napa Valley wine tour and a safari in Namibia were offered via live and silent auctions. The high energy band, Deja Blue, provided a lively atmosphere.

“This was a night to remember – everything, from the landmark venue to the wine tasting experience to the live music, was fantastic,” Clark noted. “Most importantly, people were there for one common cause: to help make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children, adolescents and adults we are privileged to serve every day.”

Mark your calendars: Annual Golf Classic
