Training Tracks OverviewDevereux offers five training tracks at various sites located in Eastern Pennsylvania. Each track offers unique training opportunities and serves diverse populations. Interns have the opportunity to apply their previous experiences and training in working with supervisors to create an individualized experience. Candidates can apply to up to two training tracks. Adult Services TrackDevereux Pennsylvania Adult Services (AS) provides programs and supports for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) ranging from the borderline to the profound range of cognitive functioning. Autism Services TrackThe Devereux Center for Autism Research and Education Services (CARES) and Community Adult Autism Partnership Program (CAAPP) provide individualized and innovative services to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. Center for Effective Schools TrackThe CES is an applied research and technical assistance center specializing in bringing evidence-based practices to schools, districts and other child-serving programs through training/technical assistance, consultation and model program development. Devereux Pennsylvania - Children’s Services Emotional & Behavioral Health TrackDevereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services provides 24-hour, residential services to children and adolescents (ages 7-18) with a variety of needs including, but not limited to, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, oppositional defiant and conduct disorders, depression and anxiety disorders. Devereux Pennsylvania - Children’s Services Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities TrackDevereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services provides assessment, treatment and consultation services to approximately 100 children and adolescents diagnosed with IDD in seven campus-based and two community-based residential treatment settings, as well as in approved private school special education placements. |
