Professional Development
The CES offers professional development trainings for school staff, parents and support professionals. We provide continuing education credits for BCBAs, psychologists, counselors, social workers and teachers. Sample training topics include:
- Applying behavioral principles to prevent problem behaviors, teach prosocial behaviors and respond effectively to behavior
- Developing successful classroom management systems
- Creating a positive school climate
- Building trauma-sensitive schools
- Preventing and responding to behavior escalation
- Structuring meetings for productive problem solving
- Function-based intervention planning
- Self-care for school professionals and caregivers
- Parent management training
The CES also partners with Behavior Webinars to develop training content and provide BCBA continuing education units.
