Leading teams to success: Devereux honors direct care supervisors with 2023 Supervisory Excellence Award

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health recently presented its 2023 Supervisory Excellence Award to 12 direct care supervisors across the organization who demonstrate Servant Leadership – every day – through their actions and interactions.

The annual award recognizes team members who go above and beyond to help their colleagues and the children, adolescents and adults in their care achieve their full potential.

“Congratulations to this year’s Supervisory Excellence Award recipients for empowering their teams and the individuals they serve, and cultivating a culture of respect, belonging and trust,” said Devereux President and CEO Carl E. Clark II. “When it comes to putting people first, these passionate professionals lead by example, fostering collaboration, promoting growth and development, and striving to create a positive and supportive work environment where everyone can thrive.”

Recognizing those who lead to serve

Every year, Devereux’s direct care employees nominate supervisors who provide exemplary leadership, and contribute to the success of their colleagues and the individuals and families they serve, through the following behaviors and actions:

  • Create an adaptive and supportive environment
  • Offer sincere praise and recognition
  • Provide fair and timely performance feedback, both positive and constructive
