How do you embed an inclusive, Servant Leadership mindset into your daily processes?

A lot of us have the same calling – to help in any way we can. That motivation lends itself to the work I do. I believe that every day is a new start, a new moment for growth and new opportunity to make yourself proud by helping someone else.

How do you inspire others to embrace Servant Leadership practices?

I have a quote in my office that reads, “Culture is how employees’ hearts and stomachs feel about Monday morning on a Sunday night.” No matter the day, I’m always excited to serve with a phenomenal team surrounding me. The pairing of a bubbly, outgoing personality with a love of serving our individuals, allows for that enthusiasm to become infectious.

Share an example or story of how you demonstrated compassion or delivered quality customer service at your center.

While leading one of my first admissions, I coordinated the teams involved and initiated a space for the individual to feel safe for the first time in a long time. Throughout the meeting, the individual began showing their true, lovely personality, and their guardian became very emotional in their gratitude. It was one of those moments that you feel deep inside, knowing this is your “why.”
