Tuition assistance and student loan repayment:
ASCEND offers financial education resources to help elevate your career

Devereux Health - ASCEND

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health’s new ASCEND Career Accelerator Program provides team members with the support and financial assistance they need to advance their careers and make an even greater impact in our communities – and in the lives of others.

To help ease the burden of continuing education and student loan debt, this best-in-class program offers tuition/certification assistance and student loan repayment benefits. Read a previous news release announcing the launch of Devereux ASCEND.

“Devereux ASCEND’s financial resources component takes career support to a new level,” said Devereux President and CEO Carl E. Clark II. “Team members may participate in both the tuition assistance and student loan repayment benefit features of the program. These resources provide our extraordinary employees with an opportunity to attend college classes and keep more money in their pockets.”

Tuition assistance

Devereux ASCEND offers the following opportunities for tuition assistance:

  • Full-time team members:
    • Undergraduate within career track: 100% of tuition, fees and textbooks – up to $15,000 total combined (annually)
    • Graduate within career track: 100% of tuition, fees and textbooks – up to $25,000 total combined (annually)
    • Non-business aligned: Up to $3,750 total combined (annually)
    • Career track certification: Up to $3,000 annually
  • Part-time team members
    • Undergraduate within career track: Up to $7,500 total combined (annually)
    • Graduate within career track: Up to $12,500 total combined (annually)
    • Career track certification: Up to $1,500 annually

The tuition assistance benefit requires a service agreement of 30 months.

Student loan repayment

Devereux ASCEND offers the following student loan repayment benefit (for federal and private loans) for team members who have already completed, or are in the process of completing, their degrees or certifications.

  • Full-time team members: Minimum required payment up to $200 per pay period ($5,200 per year)
  • Part-time team members: Minimum required payment up to $100 per pay period ($2,600 per year)

Eligible team members will go through Savi to enter the public student loan forgiveness (PSLF) program. Savi will also assist team members in loan consolidation where possible, which may result in a lower repayment schedule. Note: Devereux will pay the Savi fee for those who qualify.

The student loan repayment benefit will begin July 2023 for private loans and October 2023 for federal loans (or when payments resume from the pause).

The student loan repayment benefit requires a service agreement of 24 months.
