Daniel Bailey named executive director of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Connecticut – The Glenholme School
Villanova, PA – June 13, 2023 – Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, one of the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit providers of behavioral healthcare, today announced that President and CEO Carl E. Clark II has named Daniel Bailey, M.A., executive director of Devereux Connecticut – The Glenholme School. Bailey currently serves as The Glenholme School’s interim executive director, a position he has held since March 2023. He will assume his new role effectively immediately. As executive director, Bailey will oversee the day-to-day operational, educational, clinical and administrative functions of the Washington, Connecticut-based boarding and day school for students with social, emotional and academic challenges. Devereux Connecticut – The Glenholme School serves students, ages 9 to 21, with high-functioning autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, Tourette syndrome, depression, anxiety and other learning differences. “Dan is a highly skilled, results-oriented leader, and a tireless advocate for the students and families he serves,” said Clark. “Since assuming the position of interim executive director earlier this year, he has led with a steady hand, guiding and inspiring his team, while ensuring we continue to provide the highest quality education and support for our individuals. Dan’s extensive behavioral health and education background make him perfectly suited for this role.” About Daniel Bailey, M.A.As executive director of The Glenholme School, Daniel Bailey, M.A., brings more than 10 years of behavioral healthcare and professional education experience to this position. Bailey joined The Glenholme School in 2018 as a behavior specialist and data analyst. Since that time, he has served in roles of increasing responsibility, including director of milieu treatment and dean of students, where he oversaw all of the school’s boarding programs and activities. In March 2023, he assumed the role of interim executive director. Bailey earned his Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire, and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire.
