Main Line Today, a regional magazine focusing on Philadelphia’s Main Line and western suburbs, named Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pennsylvania’s Julie Donley one of its 2019 “Healthcare Heroes."

The award recognizes “individuals and organizations who truly make a difference in the health of their communities.”

Since 2012, Donley has served as the director of nursing for residential services at Devereux Pennsylvania’s Children’s Behavioral Health Services (CBHS) center, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.

“Julie is an incredible asset to Devereux and to the entire healthcare community, and I am thrilled that she is receiving this recognition,” said Devereux Pennsylvania CBHS Executive Director Patricia Hillis-Clark, Psy.D., BCBA. “Julie is a passionate, thoughtful and innovative leader who does not shy away from a challenge. She is a tireless advocate for the youth we serve – and our staff. Her commitment to excellence in all she does is remarkable and inspiring.”

Donley expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the award and noted, “I am proud to accept this award on behalf of all of the nurses at Devereux Pennsylvania CBHS. Nursing is both a rewarding and challenging profession, and everyone in our nursing department works diligently to ensure our youth are receiving the very best care and support as they strive to achieve their personal and treatment goals.”
