2017 Golf & Tennis Classic generates nearly $120,000 for Devereux PA programs

Devereux Pennsylvania’s 30th Annual Golf and Tennis Classic was a hole in one (or a grand slam, depending on how you look at it).

The event - held on May 16 at the Philadelphia Cricket Club and the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club - included a golf and tennis tournament, along with live and silent auctions and a cocktail/dinner reception for attendees.

A total of 266 golfers and nearly 28 tennis players - along with dinner guests - helped generate nearly $120,000 for Devereux Pennsylvania’s programs for children and adults.

During his remarks at the dinner presentation, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health President and CEO Bob Kreider thanked event sponsors, attendees and supporters. “The funds raised from today’s event will directly impact and enhance the lives of more than 3,800 children and adults in Pennsylvania,” he said. “I am grateful to be surrounded by so many individuals who support this important cause.”

The dinner program also allowed Devereux Pennsylvania’s leadership team to present awards to deserving youth and adults, served by the organization, “who inspire us, and remind us of how our work makes a positive impact the lives of others.” added Kreider.
