Internships & Volunteer OpportunitiesClinical InternshipsOur highly experienced clinical team provides the guidance interns need as they prepare for the role as a behavioral health professional. Interns work with programs consistent with their training needs, professional goals and personal interests. Internship & Practicums Offered
Qualifications Field placements are expected to last at least two semesters. Our licensing regulations require extensive onboarding activities for anyone working with children. Because of this, Devereux Florida is unable to accommodate students seeking short internships and practicums. Program requirements are also a determining factor. Students who have not yet completed a graduate program in a mental health field are not able to provide therapy services to the children we serve. If you have not completed at least a master’s degree and your program requires that you perform individual, group or family therapy, we will not be able to accommodate you for an internship. External Affairs InternshipsOur Department of External Affairs Department is accepting internship applicants for field experience in the areas of marketing, communications and non-profit advocacy. Interested applicants must be willing to commit to a minimum of 6 months of intern experience. Apply for an InternshipThank you for your interest in Devereux Florida and helping those we serve.
