Cancellation Policy: Registrations cancelled ten or more business days prior to the event are fully refundable, or the registrant’s payments can be applied toward the next available offering of that event or transferred to a substitute from the registrant’s organization. Registrations cancelled nine or fewer business days prior to the event are still subject to payment, however a substitute from the organization can attend that event in the registrant’s place. Payments will not be refunded or revoked for registrants who fail to provide proper cancellation notification to Devereux DCTR.

Trainer Certification, Recertification and Grace Period: Certification for Safety Techniques Trainers and Personal Emergency Interventions Trainers is valid for one year, and Updates must be completed annually to be recertified. Trainers whose certification has expired have a 90-day grace period from the Trainer’s expiration date to complete a re-certification Update. If a Trainer does not fulfil the requirements for re-certification within the 90-day grace period, completion of the full Train-the-Trainer program is required.

*Travel Costs incurred by Devereux’s Instructors (e.g. transportation, lodging, meals) will be charged for on-site events held beyond a 50-mile radius from Villanova, PA. A Travel Time Fee of $225 per Instructor for 3-5 hours of travel (one way) or $550 per Instructor for more than 5 hours of travel (one way) will be included in the Travel Costs.
