Assessment and Intervention Center (AIC) - TucsonDevereux Arizona’s Assessment and Intervention Center (AIC) is a licensed behavioral health facility that provides comprehensive evaluations and intensive behavioral healthcare interventions in a safe, supportive, and structured therapeutic environment. Our multidisciplinary team works to identify each individual’s current level of functioning, as well as their strengths and needs through a complete assessment process. Our goal is to minimize future disruptions by developing a comprehensive plan that supports the youth’s return to his or her home, school or community. AIC Eligible Populations
AIC ServicesServices are designed for youth with multiple treatment needs who may present with symptomology ranging across the spectrum of DSM-V diagnoses. DSM-V diagnoses include:
We also provide a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, including medication assessment and monitoring. A Behavior Support Plan based on a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) is implemented along with coaching and follow-ups with a master’s-level therapist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Youth receive health and nutrition screenings by a registered nurse, as well as individual and family therapy. In addition, we provide aftercare recommendations to ensure a smooth transition from our AIC to the individual’s home, school or community. AIC Length of StayThe length of stay typically ranges between 30 to 45 days, and is determined on an individual basis, based on medical necessity.
