Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health’s Texas and California centers receive $20,000 worth of Personal Protective Equipment from LifeToGo

League City, Texas – April 8, 2021 – Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Texas and California today announced they received a donation of more than $20,000 worth of life-saving Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including face masks and hand sanitizer, from LifeToGo, a curated, lifestyle marketplace and health and wellness community.

The PPE will be used to help protect Devereux’s front-line staff, along with individuals served by the nonprofit behavioral healthcare organization who are living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences. Look below to view a list of items donated by LifeToGo:

Devereux Texas:

  • 3,000, 3-ply disposable face masks
  • 1,200, 8-ounce bottles of hand sanitizer
  • 1,200, 2-ounce bottles of hand sanitizer

Devereux California:

  • 5,000, 3-ply disposable face masks
  • 2,000, KN95 face masks
  • 3,168, 4-ounce bottles of hand sanitizer

“LifeToGo is literally a lifesaver – its generous donation of high-quality PPE is simply amazing,” said Devereux Texas Executive Director Pam Reed. “We will be forever grateful to LifeToGo for its support in protecting the at-risk youth and adults in our care, as well as our hard-working and dedicated front-line staff, during the pandemic.”

Devereux California Executive Director Amy Evans, M.A., LMFT, LPCC, also noted, “These items are critical in our efforts to keep our team members – who give their all on a daily basis – safe and healthy. We want to thank LifeToGo for helping us remain #DevereuxStrong.”

Supporting front-line staff

Since the beginning of the pandemic, LifeToGo has donated thousands of face masks and other PPE to hospitals and nonprofit organizations like Devereux across the U.S.
