Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York expands social media presence

Red Hook, N.Y. – March 23, 2022 – Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York announced it is expanding its social media presence, and will amplify its voice on various social media platforms to share news and information about programs and services that support individuals and families living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences.

The nonprofit – based in Red Hook, N.Y. with programs located in Columbia, Ulster, Dutchess and Westchester counties – has established the following social media accounts:

“We encourage our families, friends and community supporters throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond to like, follow and share our social media accounts and posts – and to help us spread the word about the positive and inspiring work we do every day,” said Devereux New York Executive Director John Lopez, M.S.Ed. “These pages will contain news and information about behavioral health trends, employee achievements, family success stories, legislation impacting our industry, and more. By connecting with us on social media, you will stay in the know when it comes to news and information about Devereux New York.”

Staffed by nearly 550 team members, Devereux New York serves about 150 children and adolescents through its residential and education programs, and approximately 125 adults via group homes and/or day habilitation services.

More than 70 golfers demonstrated their support for Devereux Texas with every swing at the 20th annual “Divots for Devereux Golf Classic.” The event, held at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, generated $28,500 for Devereux Texas’ Autism Intensive Residential Program.
