Biography

Kate Langston Rooney serves as the Program Director for Devereux Pennsylvania’s Community Adult Autism Partnership Program (CAAPP). Rooney has oversight of behavior, community and employment supports within the program for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities. Rooney oversees all operation components of the program including utilization management, budgeting and monitoring of revenue. She is a subject matter expert on the national clinical support committee which reviews restrictive interventions and complex cases. In addition to her role within CAAPP, Rooney has provided consultation to school-age children receiving support through the Devereux Center for Autism Research and Education Services (CARES) Consulting Program and offers supervision for those pursuing their Board Certification in Behavior Analysis.
