Director of Autism Clinical Support Services Phone: (267) 314-1292 600 Boot Road     BiographyDr. Megan Robinson Joy serves as Devereux’s director of autism services for the state of Pennsylvania. In this role, Dr. Joy provides clinical oversight to autism programs, including educational, residential and community-based services for youth and adults. Dr. Joy received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Stony Brook University under the mentorship of Dr. Edward Carr, one of the founders of Positive Behavior Support (PBS). Dr. Joy’s work focuses on using the principles of behavior to develop comprehensive intervention plans to teach skills and reduce problem behaviors in natural settings. She has presented at regional and national conferences on topics, including: supporting families with children with autism; functional assessment; skill development; training therapists and educators on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA); and using multi-tiered systems of support to develop effective staff training and supervision models.
