Share your life and home with an adult living with developmental disabilities. Transform their lives by advancing new skills to enhance their quality of life.
All families are welcome: married, single, working, homemakers, co-habiting partners and retirees!

Program requirements:
Devereux Pocono’s life share providers receive extensive training and clinical oversight regarding behavioral health issues, trauma and foster care.
Our treatment caregivers meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 25 years of age and have a minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent
- Have positive background clearances
- Meet home study and licensing requirements
In addition, Devereux requires all candidates interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen®, which assesses an individual’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
Caregivers are independent contractor positions. Devereux is a drug-free workplace. EOE.
