Kathy Greene named vice president of talent and organizational development at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health

 

Devereux has announced that Kathy Greene, SPHR, has been selected for the newly created position of vice president of talent and organizational development.

Villanova, PA – Aug. 2, 2022 – Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, one of the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit providers of behavioral healthcare, today announced that Kathy Greene, SPHR, has been selected for the newly created position of vice president of talent and organizational development.

In this role, Greene will oversee Devereux’s talent and organizational development functions. Specifically, she will manage the nonprofit’s career development programs, organizational learning, performance improvement and management, and leadership development, which includes succession planning, talent assessment and coaching.

“Kathy is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of growing highly effective, diverse teams and individual talent, and we are thrilled to welcome her on board,” said Devereux Senior Vice President of People Operations Mike Ernst, SPHR, SCP. “In her new role, Kathy will help build and foster a high-performance culture of continuous learning that will help our employees increase their skills and capabilities, develop professionally to achieve career goals, and better serve and support the individuals in our care.”

About Kathy Greene, SPHR

As Devereux’s vice president of talent and organizational development, Kathy Greene, SPHR, brings more than 20 years of talent acquisition/management and organizational development experience to this new role.

Prior to joining Devereux, Greene was the vice president of talent management at Penn National Gaming in Wyomissing, Pa., where she was responsible for the company’s talent development/acquisition strategy, including executive recruitment; organization design; succession planning; performance management; and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. She also served as director of human resources at Argosy Casino Alton in Aton, Ill.; manager of training and development/human resources at Hollywood Casino and Penn National Race Course in Grantville, Pa.; and training and development consultant at Ajilon Consulting in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

Greene earned her Master of Education in training and development from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Music in music education from James Madison University. She also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
