Devereux celebrates accomplishments of nearly 70 ASCEND participants

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is celebrating the professional achievements of nearly 70 team members from across the organization who participate in the Devereux ASCEND Career Accelerator Program, which provides employees with the career guidance, one-on-one coaching, skills and financial assistance they need to achieve their goals.

The nonprofit held a virtual graduation ceremony recently for employees who are taking advantage of the program's tuition assistance or student loan repayment benefits and earned a degree, certificate or license during the 2023-24 school year, or received Public Service Loan Forgiveness. “We want to congratulate these dedicated and hard-working team members who expertly balanced the demands of their careers and families to achieve their educational goals. Their commitment to continuous growth and learning is nothing short of inspiring,” said Devereux President and CEO Carl E. Clark II. “With Devereux ASCEND, we are empowering and investing in our extraordinary employees, and it is exciting to see so many of them reach their full potential and thrive.”

Academic accomplishments

During the celebration, team members were honored for achieving the following:

• Four associate's degrees
• Eight bachelor's degrees
• 10 master's degrees
• Two doctorate degrees
• 34 certificates/certifications
• 10 licenses
• Nine team members received Public Service Loan Forgiveness

Achieving professional goals

Those who were recognized say Devereux ASCEND is helping them take their careers to new heights.
