We are dedicated to providing the best possible care and support for the individuals we serve. Devereux has more than 40 years of experience in Georgia, empowering youth and families to succeed. Our services include Intensive Residential Treatment (PRTF), Specialty Foster Care and an on-site accredited school. Look before for more information about these programs. Intensive Residential Treatment Devereux Georgia provides intensive residential treatment in a secure setting for youth, ages 10 to 21, who are facing significant emotional, behavioral and intellectual/developmental challenges. Our beautiful campus located in a serene, wooded setting offers a swimming pool, volleyball court, tennis court, playing field, lake and playground, which allow our youth the opportunity to enjoy plenty of outdoor activities. Specialty Foster Care Devereux Georgia provides Specialty Foster Care (SFC) for children and families in the metro Atlanta region and throughout the state of Georgia. This program is uniquely focused on children, teens and young adults with special medical, psychological, social and emotional needs. SFC provides youth with a family-based treatment alternative to more intensive levels of care. School and Education Devereux Georgia’s on-site accredited school offers small class sizes and access to regular and special education services. In addition, youth receive tutoring as needed. Older individuals can participate in career technical education services to explore their professional interests and learn valuable and marketable job skills. Youth enrolled in this program have the opportunity to participate in “real life” work settings, such as food service, information technology and cosmetology. These experiences promote teamwork, individuality and the achievement of personal goals. Youth also may earn a job readiness certificate that is nationally recognized by employers. Residential Group Homes Devereux Georgia’s Residential Group Home program, officially named Devereux Cottages, serves youth, ages 14 to 18, who need maximum oversight, including 24-hour supervision in a home-like environment. Individuals reside in gender-specific cottages.
