Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Hosts
20th Annual Hope Gala

More than 400 supporters expected at the National Constitution Center for fundraising event to support local individuals living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences

Villanova, PA – Sept. 12, 2019 – On Saturday, November 16, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, one of the nation’s oldest and largest providers of behavioral healthcare, will host its 20th annual Hope Gala at the National Constitution Center in historic Philadelphia. This year’s theme, “Fostering Independence,” celebrates the organization’s commitment to helping the individuals living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences Devereux serves in southeastern Pennsylvania develop the skills needed to thrive.

For the past 20 years, Devereux’s Hope Gala has been one of the most anticipated black-tie events in the Philadelphia region, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to support programs and services provided by Devereux Pennsylvania for more than 3,500 children, adolescents and adults. This year’s event, which is expected to draw more than 400 guests, will feature once-in-a-lifetime experiences and other extravagant items offered via live and silent auctions, as well as specially crafted food and drinks prepared by Brûlée Catering. Custom décor with themed accents will accentuate the spectacular backdrop of the National Constitution Center.

“Every year – thanks to the compassion and generosity of our donors, friends and supporters – we are able to help the individuals and families we serve achieve more fulfilling and rewarding lives,” said Devereux President and CEO Carl E. Clark II. “This year will be particularly impactful, as we focus on our commitment to foster independence by helping those in our care develop critical skills that will lead to greater levels of personal accomplishment, productivity and integration within their communities.”

Devereux Pennsylvania’s 2019 Hope Gala is presented through the collaboration of the Devereux Hope Gala Committee, the Devereux Pennsylvania Advisory Board and more than 20 corporate sponsors, including presenting sponsor Independence Blue Cross.

Full event details, tickets and advanced auction bidding are available at hopegala.devereux.org.
