Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility

Devereux Colorado’s psychiatric residential treatment program serves children and adolescents, ages 9 to 17, with significant emotional and behavioral challenges.

We provide long-term, therapeutic and educational support for youth at our licensed psychiatric residential treatment facility in Westminster, Colo.

The individuals who enter into our care have not responded to treatment in lower levels of care or existing facilities, or have been unable to access appropriate placements. Our highly skilled team of behavioral health professionals provide one-on-one support to help youth achieve their social, emotional and educational goals.

Providing individualized care

Devereux Colorado staff work closely with youth and families to develop treatment plans that build on each individual’s strengths, needs and preferences. All services are provided using an evidence-based, family-focused and collaborative approach.

Our treatment team is comprised of the following:

  • Unit manager
  • Psychiatrist
  • Master’s-level clinician
  • Case coordinator
  • Direct support professionals
  • Nursing staff
  • Dietary staff

We offer a full continuum of care, including individual, group and family therapy, as well as educational and recreational services.

At Devereux Colorado, we believe each child and adolescent, regardless of their life circumstances is unique and valuable, and deserves an opportunity to heal, learn and grow in a compassionate, supported and inclusive environment tailored to meet their needs. Our goal is to help the youth we serve gain the skills necessary to regulate their emotions, communicate effectively and form safe, sustainable relationships.
