Blooming business: Devereux’s Daisy Shop launches new website

Daisy Shop

To better meet customers’ needs, The Shops at Devereux’s Daisy Shop, part of Devereux Pennsylvania - Adult Services’ vocational training program, recently launched a new website - devereuxdaisyshop.com.

Business is blossoming at The Shops at Devereux’s Daisy Shop. To better meet customers’ needs, the full-service floral shop, part of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pennsylvania – Adult Services’ vocational training program, recently launched a new website.

The website – devereuxdaisyshop.com – features online ordering for pickup or delivery within 15 miles of The Shops’ Devon, Pennsylvania, location; a photo gallery of flower arrangements and bouquets; information about wedding consultations and floral design workshops; testimonials; and more.

“We are thrilled to offer our loyal customers a one-stop shop for all of their floral needs,” said The Daisy Shop Production Specialist Kelly Donohue. “When people visit our new website, they can view our arrangements and bouquets with descriptions of flower types and vases/containers, as well as dimensions. Customers can choose to include a personalized message, and with a couple of clicks, they can place their order.”

Building skills, community connections

The Daisy Shop, which provides employment and training opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is one of several specialized workshops that function as small businesses, producing goods and services for the public.

“Adults employed at The Daisy Shop gain real-world job experiencing by helping to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind flower arrangements and bouquets for holidays, weddings, graduation parties and other special occasions,” explained The Shops Program Administrator Kirk Smith. “These individuals earn a paycheck for the tasks they perform; build critical social and life skills, such as teamwork, communication, time management and budgeting; and become more involved with, and connected to, the community.”

Donohue also noted, “Our adults love working at The Daisy Shop – they are motivated and engaged. Their faces light up, and they are filled with pride when they complete a task. When you place an order from The Daisy Shop, you are giving back to the community and can rest assured your order – whether it be a bouquet, boutonniere, wreath or centerpiece – will be crafted with care and attention to detail.”

Place your order today!

The Daisy Shop is open to the public, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

To place an order or schedule a wedding/special event consultation or floral design workshop, visit devereuxdaisyshop.com. If you have any questions about The Daisy Shop, call (610) 964-3210, or email Kelly Donohue.
