Dr. Rhea Fernandes named one of the 2024 Philadelphia Titan 100
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is thrilled to announce that Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Rhea Fernandes, Psy.D., was recently selected as a 2024 Philadelphia Titan 100. The Titan 100 program, presented by Titan CEO and headline sponsor Wipfli LLP, recognizes Philadelphia's top CEOs and C-level executives for their exceptional leadership, vision, passion and influence in their field. Fernandes was named one of the Titan 100 as a result of her 20-plus years of behavioral healthcare experience. She will be honored during an awards ceremony on Sept. 19 in Philadelphia. “I am incredibly grateful to receive this recognition and to be honored alongside so many other outstanding business leaders in our region,” said Fernandes. “This award is a reflection of the opportunities I have been provided, and a celebration of the supportive, creative and mission-driven environment at Devereux in which my colleagues and I put forth our very best effort to make a meaningful and significant difference in the lives of those we serve.” In a news release announcing the recipients of the Philadelphia Titan 100, Founder/President of Titan CEO and Titan 100 Jaime Zawmon noted, “The Titan 100 are changing the way business is done in Philadelphia. Their achievements create a profound impact that makes an extraordinary difference for their clients and employees across the nation.” Fernandes' achievementsAs Devereux's senior vice president and chief operating officer, Fernandes is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the organization's national network, which spans 12 states. She joined Devereux in 2016 as executive director of Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Behavioral Health Services center (now Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services), where she was responsible for the care and treatment of approximately 5,000 children and adolescents, annually, with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences. Under her leadership, Fernandes helped transform Devereux's culture by embedding the philosophy of Servant Leadership into every corner of the organization. She also is a proud champion of diversity, and was instrumental in the launch of Devereux's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) initiative. Fernandes serves as chair of the Devereux/PLEA Board of Directors, and is a member of Chief, a national network of C-suite leaders. Fernandes is a recipient of the 2019 Philadelphia Business Journal's Minority Business Leader award and the first 2023 Chestnut Hill College, Distinguished Career Award.
