Congratulations to the class of 2024: Devereux celebrates accomplishments of student graduates

At Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, we want to congratulate our 2024 graduates.

Recently, Devereux centers across the country held graduation ceremonies to celebrate the remarkable achievements of more than 60 students.

“We are incredibly proud of all our graduates – their unwavering determination, resilience and commitment to continuous growth and learning is inspiring,” said Devereux Vice President of Educational Services Jacalyn Auris, Ed.D. “Throughout their time at Devereux, these students challenged themselves to do and be their very best, demonstrating an unparalleled strength of character. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for our graduates as they embark on the next chapter and continue to make a lasting impact on the world around them.”

This year's graduates

Devereux's 2024 graduates serve as shining beacons of progress and possibility. Look below to find out how many students graduated from Devereux programs this summer.

• Devereux Connecticut – The Glenholme School: Eight students
• Devereux Florida: Two students
• Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island: 11 students
• Devereux New York: 10 students
• Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services: 30 students

Embarking on the next chapter

While some students plan to pursue higher education, others hope to secure and/or maintain employment in the community.

One student who graduated from Devereux PA Children's Services' Devereux School for Integrated Learning says he looks forward to working at a Wawa convenience store near his house upon graduation.

“I learned my job from the Devereux Wawa (on-campus training site),” said Casey. “I will miss everyone.”

Auris added, “Our goal is to provide our students with the tools they need to succeed. We know the future is bright for this year's graduates, and we look forward to celebrating their continued triumphs and seeing all they accomplish next."

		Devereux Pennsylvania to host annual ‘Evening of Hope’ event on Nov. 9 On Saturday, Nov. 9, Devereux Pennsylvania will host its annual “Evening of Hope” event at The Fuge (home of the historic Johnsville Centrifuge) in Warminster, Pennsylvania. The theme of this year’s event, “Supporting our Galaxy of Stars,” celebrates Devereux’s commitment to lighting the way for youth and adults with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences, helping them lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
		Teeing up for a good cause: ‘Devereux Golf Cup’ raises more than $35,000 for Devereux MA/RI The annual “Devereux Golf Cup” was a hole-in-one for Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island. More than 70 golfers hit the greens at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, Rhode Island, for the event, which raised more than $35,000 for the organization’s therapeutic foster care program in Rhode Island.
		Putting others first: Devereux celebrates direct care staff during appreciation week Devereux’s committed and compassionate direct care team members work tirelessly to enhance the quality of life of the children, adolescents and adults in their care. During Direct Support Professional Recognition Week – Sept. 8-14 – Devereux is honoring its more than 2,800 direct care staff.
		Devereux/TCV Community Services opens Day Academy in Homestead to serve Mon Valley region Devereux/TCV Community Services, one of Allegheny County's most respected nonprofit organizations, has opened the Devereux TCV Day Academy – Homestead, an Approved Private School, in Homestead, Pennsylvania.
