Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pennsylvania to host annual ‘Evening of Hope’ event on Nov. 9More than 300 supporters expected at this year’s ‘out of this world’ event to raise critical funds for local individuals with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences.Villanova, PA – Sept. 9, 2024 – On Saturday, Nov. 9, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pennsylvania will host its annual ”Evening of Hope“ event at The Fuge (home of the historic Johnsville Centrifuge) in Warminster, Pennsylvania. The theme of this year’s event, “Supporting our Galaxy of Stars,” celebrates Devereux’s commitment to lighting the way for children, adolescents and adults with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences, helping them lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives. Each year, Devereux’s highly anticipated fall event generates hundreds of thousands of dollars to support individuals served by the organization in Pennsylvania. This year’s event, which is expected to draw more than 300 guests, will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres; a delectable three-course meal; live entertainment by the Philadelphia band Fiji; and an enticing live and silent auction. Guests also will have an opportunity to pose for photos inside the Johnsville Centrifuge, an invaluable training tool for early U.S. astronauts, including Alan Shepard, John Glenn, Donald “Deke” Slayton, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and more. “This year’s event is sure to be ‘out of this world,’” said Devereux President and CEO Carl E. Clark II. “The theme, ‘Supporting our Galaxy of Stars,’ pays tribute to our stellar community partners who go above and beyond to support our mission, serving as shining beacons of hope and healing to those in our care. Together, we will work to ensure the future is bright for our very own ‘galaxy of stars’ – our individuals and families.” Individual tickets are $375 and VIP tickets – which will fund a variety of arts, cultural and recreational activities and events for individuals served by Devereux Pennsylvania – are $425.
