During Suicide Prevention Awareness Month in September, Devereux is joining other organizations in raising awareness about this national public health issue and spreading the word about actions we can all take to be part of the solution and support youth and adults at risk of suicide.

Devereux Arizona Executive Director Yvette Jackson, LMSW, DBH, was recently selected as one of Az Business magazine's 2024 “Most Influential Women in Arizona Business.” Jackson was named one of the “Most Influential Women” as a result of her more than 25 years of behavioral healthcare experience in the state.

Devereux National Director of Family Engagement Amy Kelly, MBA, MNM, offers tips to help families of children with disabilities get back into the swing of things and make the summer-to-school switch a success.

For more than 10 years, Devereux Arizona therapeutic foster parents Keita and Jerry Willis have been providing a loving and nurturing home for youth in need. The couple began fostering at the encouragement of family members who also foster, and they have never looked back.

On Saturday, Nov. 9, Devereux Pennsylvania will host its annual “Evening of Hope” event at The Fuge (home of the historic Johnsville Centrifuge) in Warminster, Pennsylvania. The theme of this year’s event, “Supporting our Galaxy of Stars,” celebrates Devereux’s commitment to lighting the way for youth and adults with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences, helping them lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

The annual “Devereux Golf Cup” was a hole-in-one for Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island. More than 70 golfers hit the greens at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, Rhode Island, for the event, which raised more than $35,000 for the organization’s therapeutic foster care program in Rhode Island.

Devereux’s committed and compassionate direct care team members work tirelessly to enhance the quality of life of the children, adolescents and adults in their care. During Direct Support Professional Recognition Week – Sept. 8-14 – Devereux is honoring its more than 2,800 direct care staff.

Devereux/TCV Community Services, one of Allegheny County's most respected nonprofit organizations, has opened the Devereux TCV Day Academy – Homestead, an Approved Private School, in Homestead, Pennsylvania.
