Support Devereux’s Recreational Supplies Campaign
As we continue to adhere to social distancing guidelines, while spending more time indoors, our team members have been brainstorming on fun and educational ways to engage the individuals in our care. With their help, we’ve developed “wish lists” through Amazon that include: toys, games, arts and crafts supplies, educational activities, etc. We encourage you to participate in this important campaign so we are able to expand our centers’ recreational supplies … and keep us all #DevereuxStrong!

Devereux launches initiative to help employees build, nurture resilience

Devereux launches initiative
Through your gift, you are contributing to our mission to unlock and nurture human potential in people living with emotional, behavioral or cognitive differences.

At Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, the health and wellness of our employees is of the utmost importance.

To help staff thrive, Devereux is launching an adult resilience initiative that will provide employees with the necessary tools and resources to cope with the adversity and stress of daily life.

“This initiative will help our employees build and nurture their resilience, so they can continue to make meaningful and positive differences in the lives of those we serve,” said Devereux Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical/Medical Officer Yolanda Graham, M.D.

Since everyone faces adversity and challenges at some point in life, the Devereux Center for Resilient Children (DCRC) team offers valuable resources and professional development opportunities for all adults - not just Devereux team members - that focus on resilience and overall wellness.

“We encourage adults to take advantage of these free resources that reinforce the idea that self-care is not selfish, but rather an essential part of leading a healthy and happy life,” said DCRC Director Susan Damico.
