Devereux California has a spacious licensed residential group home for individuals, ages 18 and older (Casa Feliz), and a senior care home for medically involved individuals with behavioral challenges (Weisman Center), located in Goleta. These homes offer 24-hour supervision and learning in a safe and therapeutic environment.
Devereux California’s supported and independent living services (SLS, ILS) are designed to provide another living option for adults with disabilities who would like to reside in the community. We work with a wide range of individuals, from those who need only minimal support to those who need 24-hour care.
Devereux California’s adult day program is open to all of the individuals we serve, as well as other community members, as space is available. This program focuses on providing a variety of activities within a person-centered culture that maximizes individual learning and enjoyment, while also addressing the development of a participant’s physical, intellectual and social skills.
Devereux California provides advanced behavioral supports and clinical services to individuals with significant behavioral challenges. Families and guardians are encouraged to play an integral role in the individual’s treatment by learning and applying the therapies Devereux clinicians use to benefit their loved one who is experiencing these challenges.
