Support Devereux’s Recreational Supplies Campaign
As we continue to adhere to social distancing guidelines, while spending more time indoors, our team members have been brainstorming on fun and educational ways to engage the individuals in our care. With their help, we’ve developed “wish lists” through Amazon that include: toys, games, arts and crafts supplies, educational activities, etc. We encourage you to participate in this important campaign so we are able to expand our centers’ recreational supplies … and keep us all #DevereuxStrong!

Help Devereux boost recreational supplies across its centers today!

Pride Month: Promoting inclusion and acceptance of all individuals

LGBT-flower
Through your gift, you are contributing to our mission to unlock and nurture human potential in people living with emotional, behavioral or cognitive differences.

Pride Month in June is a time to recognize the significant and positive impact LGBTQ individuals are making in our communities, and raise awareness of the challenges that remain for LGBTQ youth and adults.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health stands alongside LGBTQ individuals to help eliminate discrimination that exists in our society, and evolve our culture from one of tolerance … to acceptance … to affirmation.

“Everyone deserves to be treated equally, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression,” said Devereux Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical/Medical Officer Yolanda Graham, M.D.

In 2020, 10 Devereux centers were recognized by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the leading LGBTQ rights and advocacy group in the U.S., for supporting and serving LGBTQ youth and families.

“Achieving this recognition is a testament to our employees’ commitment to providing compassionate and culturally competent care to the individuals and families we serve,” explained Devereux Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical/Medical Officer Yolanda Graham, M.D.
