Devereux New York provides a wide range of educational, clinical, residential and community-based programs and services to children and adults – ages five to 21 – with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional and behavioral differences, and dual diagnoses.  

Our continuum of care spans the following areas: 

• Children’s services: Devereux New York provides a wide range of educational, clinical, residential and community-based programs and services for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences, and dual diagnoses. Our goal is to help the individuals we serve become positive, productive and socially-connected members of their communities. These services are provided at the following locations:

• Red Hook Campus School, located in Dutchess County, N.Y. – offers services in both day and residential settings. 
• Devereux New York Center for Autism Research and Education Services (N.Y. CARES), located in Mt. Kisco, N.Y. – provides year-round, full-day, intensive educational and behavioral interventions for students. 

• Adult services: We offer a wide range of educational, clinical, residential and community-based programs and services for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional and behavioral differences, and dual diagnoses. Our goal is to support the individuals we serve to become positive, productive and socially-connected members of their communities. 

• Self-advocacy: Speaking up for yourself, making your own decisions and impacting the direction of your life, are critical components to self-advocacy. Our student and adult self-advocacy groups help the individuals we serve feel empowered by their hard work and proud of their accomplishments.
