Devereux Texas - Victoria Community Living Program

The philosophy of the Community Living Program includes teaching skills and focusing on strengths, encouraging its residents’ participation in making choices about living accommodations, school locations and work or leisure activities. Designed around person-centered planning, a process that identifies existing and natural support, the Community Living Program incorporates individual preferences and strengths, and develops strategies and resources for achieving effective outcomes.

Assessment and Support Planning

Devereux Victoria Community Living Embracing an interdisciplinary team approach, the Community Living Program emphasizes the improvement of independent functioning and access to community resources. The program staff, comprised of psychiatrists, physicians, nurses and vocational professionals, utilizes carefully designed comprehensive evaluations and initial assessments.
