| The Devereux Adult Community is a comprehensive treatment program of Devereux-Victoria serving adults, ages 18 and older, who have a variety of severe emotional and developmental disabilities requiring extended care in a supportive residential setting. In the Devereux tradition of providing high quality human services to special needs populations, the Adult Program is based on the philosophy that all individuals benefit from a challenging environment, and grow and learn through new experiences. Opportunities are offered for meaningful work, leisure, and social relationships. Devereux has been providing services nationwide for more than 90 years and the Texas program has served adults since the early 1960s. |

Adult Residential Program
The Adult Residential Program is located 12 miles south of Victoria, Texas, a progressive community of approximately 75,000. The campus is located near excellent medical services and offers recreational and shopping opportunities. It also provides a safe, peaceful and rural environment.
The grounds include:
- Swimming pool
- Gymnasium
- Nature trails
- Large lighted outdoor deck
- Fishing pond and much more
The goal of the residential program is to assist and support clients as they become contributing members of their community. Our team members work with the client to develop a support plan that helps the client achieve maximum independence. The plan is designed based on the needs of the client, and incorporates supports that can address challenging behaviors.
