Devereux Pocono Center

Devereux Pocono is part of the Devereux comprehensive national network of clinical, therapeutic, educational and employment programs and services.  Founded in 1912 by pioneering Philadelphia schoolteacher Helena Devereux, we positively impact the lives of tens of thousands of individuals and families every year.

Services are individualized based on strengths, needs, individual choices, values and diversity.  Positive approach strategies are utilized to reinforce and build upon individual strengths.

All individuals and their family members are actively involved in treatment, planning and decision making processes.  The therapeutic environment facilitates treatment by teaching skills in natural, routine environments and providing structure and consistency on a daily basis.
