Because of the generous donation of $100 from friends and family, Miss Devereux was able to open her first program in Devon, Pennsylvania. Since 1912, Devereux has relied on support from family members, foundations, corporations and the community at-large to garner the financial resources needed to insure the continued excellence and innovation of its programs.
