Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New York’s Advisory Board hosted a reception for more than 60 supporters on October 18 at the Coveleigh Club in Rye, N.Y.
Attendees had an opportunity to learn how Devereux New York supports, and cares for, individuals living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences. The nonprofit provides a wide range of educational, clinical, residential and community-based programs and services to children, adolescents and adults – ages five to 21 – with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional and behavioral differences, and dual diagnoses.
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is one of the largest and most advanced behavioral healthcare organizations in the country. Founded in 1912 by special education pioneer Helena Devereux, the organization is a national nonprofit partner for individuals, families, schools and communities, serving many of the most vulnerable members of our society in areas of autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, specialty mental health and child welfare.
