Terms and Conditions for MobileCause

Our goal is to foster and promote fundraising on behalf of Devereux in a secure and safe way.  To help do so, we have established some Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) for the use of this Platform.

These T&C are legally binding.  By creating a cause on this site, you are agreeing to be legally bound by these terms.  If you do not wish to be bound you should not continue to use this site.

We may change these T&Cs from time to time.  Generally, we will not alert anyone to these changes, so you are agreeing to check for changes from time to time.  You are also agreeing that you will be legally bound by any changes we make.

We will use all donations at our discretion but within our stated charitable objectives.  If your campaign specifies that donations will be used for a particular purpose, we will contact you directly to discuss whether that purpose can be fulfilled.  But, we do reserve the right to use donations in a way that fulfills our charitable mission and ensures the gift is tax deductible for the donor.

Devereux has full editorial control over all causes that appear on MobileCause.   If we want to make changes to something you post, we will inform you and offer an opportunity for comment.  We do this so that we can control the use of the Devereux brand and reputation.

You are choosing to make use of the MobileCause platform.  Devereux is not asking or soliciting you to use MobileCause, nor will you receive any form of compensation from Devereux for your use of MobileCause.   You can stop use of MobileCause at any time for any reason.

You understand that Devereux, its officers, trustees, employees, volunteers, contractors or affiliates will not be liable for any loss or damage associated with your use of MobileCause, including, without limitation, claims for refunds.
