RI Community Mental Health Services
Devereux’s Outpatient Services includes:
We serve children, adolescents, adults and families in need of behavioral health care. Our clients come from a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds and varied family histories. They may have suffered many different types of traumatic experiences, and we use a trauma-focused approach to determine the most effective treatment for each person’s specific needs.
Our goal is to offer resources to strengthen individuals and families. We endeavor to stabilize the family situation so children may remain in their homes while getting care for their emotional and behavioral disorders.
If a child has required out of home placement, we aim to reunite them with their families as quickly as possible and smooth the transition back to the home setting.
We offer instruction and guidance from experienced clinical practitioners who are able to offer the highest level of care and support.
Individual, couple, family or group counseling may occur in the home, in the counseling office or at school. We offer flexibility to meet the specific needs of those we serve.
