"The benefits of your efforts may not be obvious next week or even next month, but may be apparent 15 years from now. What you are doing is very valuable and you may never know the impact that you can have on a kid's life." -- David Rines, Advisory Board Member and Former Devereux Student
Careers at Devereux Massachusetts Head teacher, Dan Moran
Head teacher, Dan Moran, has been educating children at Devereux for more than 35 years.
As we work to develop the potential of the clients we serve, we also believe in developing our employees to their fullest. With employees using their special talents and abilities and providing genuine care and concern, we can help our clients find hope.

Devereux is committed to providing the resources our employees need to enjoy ongoing learning and rewards for their contributions. Our Skills for Life program was specifically created to provide all staff members with access to development opportunities that begin on the first day of employment. We believe this is just as vital to our future as an organization as it is to the futures of those who rely on our care.

Devereux Massachusetts is part of the Devereux Foundation, the nation’s largest independent, not-for-profit provider of treatment services for children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and developmental challenges.

We are committed to the ideals of Helena T. Devereux, who founded the organization in 1912. Her belief was that every person can grow in an environment tailored to their individual needs.
