Please call a Devereux admissions representatives at (610) 431-8126 or (610) 431-8191. A representative will answer questions about the services offered at Kanner and across the nation.
We provide residential programs for children and adolescents who have developmental disabilities, emotional disturbances, are dually diagnosed (MH/MR) and/or have Autism. Non-residential students are served in our Approved Private School, vocational program and the CARES program.

- Children and adolescents ages 6-17 upon admission, able to remain in program until 21 if under an IEP
- Young adults ages 18-20, if qualify for 6400 reg. home
- Boys and girls
- Severe Mental Retardation to Borderline Intellectual Functioning-- Full Scales IQ below 75
- Dually diagnosed; developmentally delayed with a psychiatric diagnosis attached
- Autistic and Pervasive Developmental Disorder
- Mental Retardation, Learning Disabilities, Attention Disorders
- May also present a neurological or physical impairment
- Emotional Behaviorally Disordered including behaviors such as: opposition, property damage, verbal aggression, physical aggression, sexual acting out
- Past history of neglect, physical and/or sexual abuse
- Peer relational problems
- May require medication management
