| Score and interpret results from the Devereux Scales of Mental Disorders (DSMD) with the new DSMD Scoring Assistant. This software program from the Psychological Corporation, publishers of the DSMD, puts a wealth of information at your fingertips instantly. The DSMD Scoring Assistant provides fast, accurate results immediately after entering DSMD rating items. It eliminates the need for table look-ups, and ensures accuracy of all scores in printed reports. A narrative interpretative report reveals clinical status in terms of six scale scores, three composite scores, and a total score. The report also identifies problem areas and behaviors defined by exceptionally high item ratings. This feature links assessment and treatment planning. The unique DSM-IV inquiry feature allows you to review critical items as they relate to DSM-IV diagnostic criteria. Items endorsed at the critical level trigger a listing of specific DSM-IV criteria associated with those items. The software refers the user to specific page numbers in the Standard Edition and Desk Reference DSM-IV manuals to aid diagnosis. Query by a DSM-IV diagnosis and the program will identify specific items related to that diagnosis and their respective diagnostic criteria. You will also have the option of including identified problem items in your narrative report. In addition to scoring an initial rating, the DSMD Scoring Assistant offers pre- and post-intervention comparisons, interrater reliability comparisons, and intraindividual comparisons of significant differences among scale scores. These results are available in narratives, graphs, and tables. | |
