Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health hosts annual Golf Classic on May 14 to raise critical funding to support youth and adults with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences

------------------------------

More than 300 supporters expected to attend annual event, which will be held at three of Philadelphia’s premier golf courses, and will feature live/silent auctions and a cocktail/dinner reception

------------------------------

Villanova, PA – April 5, 2019 – On Tuesday, May 14, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, one of the nation’s oldest and largest providers of behavioral healthcare, will host its annual Golf Classic. This event will provide attendees with the opportunity to golf at three of Philadelphia’s premier golf courses: the Philadelphia Cricket Club’s Wissahickon and Militia Hill Courses, and Sunnybrook Golf Club.

For more than 30 years, the Devereux Pennsylvania Golf Classic has generated critical funding to support the 3,500 individuals living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences served by the organization in southeastern Pennsylvania. One of the few remaining multi-course, charitable golf outings in the region, the event also will feature a dinner program honoring Devereux individuals who have overcome tremendous personal challenges.

“As Devereux continues to expand its innovative programs and services, and provide greater access to therapeutic programs and compassionate care for individuals and their families, we understand that we would not be able to drive our mission forward without the generosity of our friends and community supporters,” said Devereux President and CEO Carl E. Clark II. “Our annual Golf Classic has become a treasured tradition that allows us to generate much-needed funding to support and enable the children, adolescents and adults in our care to thrive and reach their full potential.”
