Carl E. Clark IICarl E. Clark II elected to Greenleaf Center’s Board of Trustees

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health President and Chief Executive Officer Carl E. Clark II was elected to the Robert K. Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership Board of Directors. Clark was elected to a three-year term (July 1, 2019-June 30, 2022) by the Greenleaf Center Board, and voted into office by the membership on May 30, 2019. As a board member, Clark will collaborate with like-minded servant leaders to direct the future strategy of the longest, continuously operating servant leadership nonprofit organization in the world. In addition, Clark - along with his fellow board members - will ensure that the center is fulfilling its mission efficiently, effectively and in compliance with nonprofit practices.

Carl Clark IICaregiver of the Year Award

Georgia Division of Family & Children Services and the Georgia Alliance of Therapeutic Services honored Devereux Georgia foster parents Mary & Nathaniel Price as a Foster Caregiver of the Year during an appreciation luncheon and awards ceremony. The Price family has been fostering children with Devereux for over three years. During that time, the family has fostered ten children and become a champion for partnership parenting and sibling reunification. The Price’s believe that every child deserves a place to call home and they work hard to ensure kids are brought into the fold of the family, which includes regular family outings and family vacations. The Price’s passion for seeing the good in each child makes a massive difference in their home and the lives of the children in their family.

Devereux Georgia Grant Awards

North Cobb CivitanNorth Cobb Civitan

North Cobb Civitan places emphases on serving people with mental and physical disabilities, youth and senior citizens in the community. They have continued to support Devereux Georgia’s mission of unlocking human potential in numerous ways over the years. To that end, we are delighted to announce North Cobb Civitan has made a donation of $1,500.00 to support our organizational needs. We are thrilled to have a longstanding partnership with such a dedicated civic organization.

Kiwanis Club of Marietta

Kiwanis Club of Marietta has been making a difference in our community since 1930. As a supporter of the Arts, the Kiwanis Club of Marietta awarded Devereux Georgia a $1,500 grant in support of our Art Enrichment Program. Art Enrichment is an essential part of the therapeutic process for our clients. With this award, we can purchase additional materials and supplies for our art program. Devereux Georgia is grateful to support of Kiwanis Club Marietta.

Our Annual Hope Event: Painting a Picture of Hope will be held on September 19, 2019 at the Marrietta Country Club in Kennesaw. Each year, Devereux Georgia host a fundraiser event that celebrates the art created by the youth we serve.
