Devereux Georgia Grant Awards

The Allstate Foundation - We are pleased to announce Devereux Georgia has been awarded a $20,000.00 grant from The Allstate Foundation in support of Neurofeedback therapy. Neurofeedback therapy, or EEG biofeedback, is an FDA approved intervention designed to re-train the brain to function more efficiently. This program was started with an initial award of $25,000 in 2016. We are grateful for The Allstate Foundation’s continued support. Through their generosity, we have been able to provide an innovative approach to therapy.

Resurgens Charitable Foundation - Devereux Georgia has been awarded $17,000 to purchase equipment for the ball field—including backstops, bases, a basketball goal, portable soccer goals, etc. Resurgens Charitable Foundation supports organizations that promote an active lifestyle for people of all ages and all abilities. We are delighted to win the support!

Young Southeast Asian Leadership Initiative (YSEALI)

On October 3, we had the pleasure of hosting twenty-one Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) fellows on our campus. Individuals, hosted through Kennesaw State University, shared exciting presentations with our kids about their home countries and planted 360 new daffodil bulbs in The Daffodil Project garden on our campus. We would like to extend a huge thank you to our Advisory Board member, Dr. Lance Askildson for organizing this visit.

Volunteers

Kortney, Amber and Shunty from Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority Incorporated, Kennesaw State University Chapter helped beautify our campus by weeding the garden near the outdoor classroom. Thanks for helping make our campus a therapeutic environment for the youth we serve!
